Our knowledgeable and compassionate staff employs evidence-based treatment to heal the whole patient: physically, emotionally, and nutritionally. Our patients graduate from our program with increased quality of life, and better educated in managing their pain experience, psychosocial stressors, and nutritional health.
Treating patients’ physical pain is obviously important. However, if physical health is the only treatment focus, the results are likely to be incomplete and short-lived. We believe emotional and nutritional health are equally important in treating chronic pain.
By incorporating group psychotherapy within the core 10-week program, we can also make referrals for individual psychotherapy when necessary. In our experience, a patients’ chronic pain can be traced to trauma. Without addressing— and healing— trauma, patients are less likely to experience long-lasting results.
